Sedation Dentistry (N2O and Conscious)

Our office offers both nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as well as conscious sedation.

Sedation dentistry involves the use of a commonly prescribed sedative in order to eliminate anxiety and create a sense of complete calm. Prior to scheduling any treatment appointments under sedation, you will need to come to our office first for an oral evaluate and to devise a treatment plan, as well as sign all consent forms. You will be instructed to take the oral sedative prior to your appointment, so will need a family member or friend to drive you to and from our office. Once arriving at our office for treatment we’ll seat you in a treatment chair and give you a warm blanket before we begin your procedures. Your vital signs will be monitored at all times. This form of sedation will make you unaware of treatment details, however, you will be able to converse with our dental team. You’ll emerge gradually from your oral sedation with little or no memory of your time at our office. Sedation dentistry allows the dentist to potentially perform several procedures in a single session. People with busy schedules or extreme dental anxiety can get the dental care they need, easily and quickly.

What are people saying?

“Excellent experience. Kind friendly and very professional. Everything explained in a clear manner. The practice is very modern and clean , and there was no wait for the scheduled appointment.”
Colin Y

“This is probably the best dental office I have ever gone to. The staff is very personable and I always feel welcome there. Every experience has been a pleasant one.”
Linda A

“Efficient and prompt. I was pleased that I was out well before originally estimated time due to the fact that the procedure was less time consuming than it might have been, had my tooth decay been farther advanced than it actually was.”
