Bruxism is a very common oral condition known by its symptoms of grinding or clenching of the teeth. You may not even know that this problem is affecting you, most people experience it in their sleep and it is typically a subconscious act commonly tied to stress. Learn more by reading below or checking out our website: https://williamsbcs.com/service/night-guards/
How do you know if you suffer from bruxism? Signs include:
• Headaches
• Sensitive teeth and gums
• Breakage of teeth
• Teeth changing shape over time
• Clicking/grinding sounds in your jaw
• Tenderness or fatigue in the jaw/aching muscles
If you notice any of the above symptoms, you may want to consider discussing this with your dentist at your next check-up. You could be a candidate for an occlusal splint. Occlusal splints (commonly known as a night guard) are designed to protect your teeth from the effects of bruxism. #TipTuesday #Bruxism #OcclusalSplint #ProtectYourTeeth

What are people saying?
“Our entire family has been using Williams Family Dentistry for many years. Their communication is always great and prompt, the office is beautiful and comfortable (love the views of the woods from the cleaning chairs). All the hygienists are excellent. On this visit Sarah recognized that I was having a little discomfort at one point during the cleaning and said–no problem, let’s do this another way–which was so nice and appreciated!”
Jill G
“Everything was seamless from scheduling, prompt check in, and right on time for my appointment. The office was beautifully decorated. I appreciated the thoroughness of my hygienist and Dr. Shanna. Thank you for making my family feel well cared for.”
Peggy S
“Impeccable as always, from the warm greeting by name as I entered, to the caring staff and services provider by all. I could not have asked for more calming hospitality in what for most, could be an unnerving experience, going to the dentist.”
