Sedation Dentistry
Our office offers nitrous oxide, commonly referred to as laughing gas, to help ease dental anxiety during your visit.
The combination of nitrous oxide and oxygen inhaled for the duration of your visit offers a safe and effective way to manage pain and anxiety. Patients inhale nitrous oxide through a nasal mask throughout the course of their treatment. The dentist can raise or lower the dosage according to the patients needs during the visit for ultimate comfort and relaxation.
You do not need to worry about having a friend or family member drive you to your appointment. The effects of nitrous oxide are fast acting and wear off quickly so patients are able to return to all daily activities, including driving, once they leave our office.
